Short
OpenAgent is an open-source, vendor-neutral identity standard for autonomous software agents, built on W3C Decentralized Identifiers.
Full
The Open Agent Specification (OAS) defines a W3C DID-based identity framework for autonomous agents. It introduces the did:oas method with eleven entity kinds, a cryptographic lineage model ensuring human accountability, three progressive conformance levels, and FROST threshold signatures. Reference implementations are available in seven programming languages with cross-language cryptographic parity via Rust WASM.
