Overview

The Open Agent Specification (OAS) is an open-source project. This privacy policy applies to the openagent.id website and related web properties operated by L1fe Labs.

We are committed to minimal data collection. This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics services that profile visitors.

Data We Collect

Server Logs: Standard HTTP server logs including IP address, user agent, timestamp, and requested URL. These logs are retained for 30 days for security and debugging purposes, then permanently deleted.

Contact Forms: If you contact us via email or a form, we collect the information you provide (name, email, message content). This data is used solely to respond to your inquiry.

GitHub Integration: If you interact with our GitHub repositories, your activity is governed by GitHub's privacy policy. We do not collect additional data beyond what GitHub provides through standard repository interactions.

What We Do Not Collect

We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar tracking services.

We do not collect behavioral data, fingerprint browsers, or create user profiles.

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties.

SDK and Library Usage

The OAS SDKs (Rust, TypeScript, Go, Python, Swift, Kotlin, Vanilla JS) are client-side libraries that run entirely on your infrastructure. They do not phone home, collect telemetry, or transmit any data to L1fe Labs or any third party.

DID documents created using OAS SDKs are stored and managed entirely by you. We have no access to your identities, keys, or lineage chains.

Data Security

All connections to openagent.id are encrypted via TLS 1.3. Server logs are stored on encrypted volumes with access restricted to infrastructure administrators.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of any personal data we hold by contacting privacy@openagent.id. We will respond within 30 days.

For users in the EU/EEA, you have rights under GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, and data portability. For California residents, CCPA rights apply.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. Material changes will be announced on the website. The effective date below reflects the most recent revision.
